Sir Hugh Taylor is Chairman of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, he was appointed in February 2011.
He has a long and distinguished career in the civil service which has included senior roles in the Department of Health and NHS Executive, the Cabinet Office and the Home Office. His most recent appointment before becoming Chairman of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, was Permanent Secretary at the Department of Health, from which he retired in July 2010.
