Daniel joined The Nuffield Trust as Head of Communications in October 2009 after eight years working in press and public affairs at The King’s Fund and almost three years as a journalist.

Daniel started at The King’s Fund in 2001 as a Press Officer before becoming Senior Press and Public Affairs Officer in 2003. He was promoted to the position of Head of Press and Public Affairs in 2004 and remained in the role for five years before joining the Nuffield Trust. 

Previously, Daniel worked as an online journalist for British Sky Broadcasting after 18 months as a news reporter at a local newspaper.  He graduated in 1999 with a degree in politics and journalism.

Daniel became a full member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) in September 2007 after completing its post-graduate diploma.
