Helen McCarthy joined the Nuffield Trust in March 2016. As HR Officer, she is part of the Finance & Administration Team and is responsible for the day to day management of the Human Resources function within the Trust.
Prior to joining the Trust, Helen enjoyed a wide variety of roles within the public, private and not-for-profit/charitable sectors. She has gained valuable experience at many organisations, including the Pensions Ombudsman Service as a Senior Investigator and at the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) as a Senior Dispute Resolution Adviser.
Helen holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice (LPC) from BPP University Law School (London) and a BA (Hons) in Law with Politics. Helen is a member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a CEDR Accredited Mediator.
Helen left the Trust in December 2018.
