Liz studied Psychology at University of Manchester and has worked within the Stroke Association for the last 8 years in a number of roles moving from a Volunteer, Administrator, Communication Support into leading regionally Awareness, Prevention and Long Term Peer Support.
Liz was project manager for the Nesta Peer Support Project and is currently the UK Volunteering & Community Partnerships Manager working strategically to ensure the charity has the infrastructure in place to ensure there is sustainable quality long term peer support accessible for everyone affected by stroke.
