Dr Louise Marshall is a Specialty Registrar in Public Health at Oxford University Hospitals Trust. Prior to working at Oxford University Hospitals Trust, Louise joined the Nuffield Trust in May 2012 as a Specialty Registrar in Public Health.
She has held previous training positions at NHS Bedfordshire, the Foundation for Genomics and Population Health (PHG Foundation) and Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire Health Protection Unit.
Prior to starting specialty training, Louise worked as a research scientist at the Medical Research Council investigating primary care referral to a commercial slimming organisation.
Louise has a PhD in Nutrition and Obesity from the University of Cambridge and masters' degrees in Public Health Nutrition from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and in Public Health from the University of Cambridge.
