Emma joined the Nuffield Trust in August 2022 as an academic placement and is currently working on various projects including social care and workforce. Her interests include women’s health, climate change, health inequity, and international learning on health and social care systems.
Emma holds an MSc by Research in Health Justice from Lancaster University. Her thesis explored health justice theory’s application to quantitative data by constructing a multidimensional index that captured women’s reproductive health equity, using Colombia as a case study. She also holds a bachelors in Geography from Lancaster University.
