Sophie joined the Nuffield Trust in 2022 as an academic placement. She has a strong interest in health inequalities both on a national and global scale.
Sophie holds an MSc in Global Health from King’s College London. During her time there, Sophie worked with the Malaria Consortium on her dissertation which aimed to assess the effectiveness of malaria case detection interventions in rural Cambodia.
Sophie also holds a BSc in Medical Sciences from the University of Exeter, where her dissertation focused on digital services offered in General Practice and their association with quality of care.
Outside of work Sophie enjoys participating in various sports.
