In November 2007 the Nuffield Trust hosted an expert seminar on electronic health records (EHR), jointly hosted with the Wellcome Trust. The Electronic Health Records Symposium brought together health leaders, policy-makers and academics to identify the key priorities involved in research, strategy and implementation of EHRs.
Critical Issues for Electronic Health Records – Considerations from an expert workshop augments the workshop findings with further comment from the authors and identifies the key requirements for successful EHR systems implementation, integration and maintenance worldwide.
