In this presentation recorded at the Nuffield Trust’s Annual Health Strategy Summit 2011, Dr Martin Bardsley, Head of Research at the Nuffield Trust, describes the uses of our ‘data laboratory’.
Dr Bardsley reflects on the effect of the current NHS reforms on information policy and demonstrates the way linkage between data sets can reveal a fuller picture of what is happening to people as they use services. He goes on to outline the way the Nuffield Trust uses its data lab in evaluation and in developing models that predict the likelihood of future events.
