A system for British companies to be able to get their products certified here to export into the EU. Ideally, a system where we can keep co-operating with the European Medicines Agency on regulation, saving money and keeping us part of a major, attractive market for medicine.
The UK will be cut off from the EU market. We will need to duplicate regulation at a cost to companies and taxpayers here and in the EU. The NHS will become less attractive for medicine and device companies to work with or to introduce cutting-edge products to.

Provisions for us to keep access to the EU's big science funding programmes. Ways to keep our regulations aligned so work can cross borders, but space if possible to go our own way if there are areas where scientists feel this might be better.
British scientists will lose access to European networks, funding, and institutions which underpin their work. Cross border work will be disrupted because we cannot be certified as meeting EU standards.

Freedoms in crossing the Irish border, to minimise delays and bureaucracy. Regulations and customs procedures that are co-ordinated with the EU, so that goods can continue to flow with as little disruption as possible.
A hard border will suddenly arise between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, obstructing patients who cross the border for life-saving care. Delays and tariffs at the borders will cause higher prices and shortages, undermining NHS finances and the delivery of treatment.
