Published: 23/08/2012

The Nuffield Trust’s European Summit 2012, supported by KPMG, allowed health leaders from 13 countries to explore how best to reform payment mechanisms to achieve high value, financially sustainable health care. In particular, the Summit reviewed the latest information and evidence on major innovations in payment reform in Western Europe and drew out the cross-country learning.

This video shows highlights from the event featuring contributions from Nigel Edwards, Global Health Reform, KPMG; Dr Mark Britnell, Global Health Practice, KPMG; Professor Dr Reinhard Busse, Berlin University of Technology, Germany and EuroDRG Project; and Dr Josep Figueras, European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies and WHO European Centre on Health Policy.
