Chair of the Nuffield Trust appointed CBE

Andy McKeon to be appointed a CBE in the 2020 New Year’s Honours for services to Healthcare.

Andy McKeon, chair of the Nuffield Trust, has been appointed a CBE for services to Healthcare in the 2020 New Year’s Honours. Andy McKeon is a long standing Nuffield Trustee and has chaired the Board since July 2016. 

Andy McKeon has a distinguished record of public service, serving as Deputy Chief Executive of Barts and the London NHS Trust; Head of Primary Care at the Department of Health and as managing director for health at the Audit Commission between 2003 and 2012. He has also previously served two terms as a non-executive member of the National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence.
