Anna Starling joined the Health Foundation in February 2016 as a Policy Fellow where she is focusing on new models of care.
Prior to the Health Foundation, Anna worked within the NHS undertaking operational and strategic roles in providers in addition to a secondment at the Ministry of Justice. Anna was on the NHS Management Scheme and has previous experience in charities. In 2014 she participated in the European Hospital and Healthcare Federation exchange programme learning about the Danish healthcare system.
She has an MSc in Health Policy and Leadership from the Universities of Manchester and Birmingham, and a BA in Archaeology and Anthropology from Durham University.
