Dr Linda Patterson OBE is a consultant physician who has specialised in medicine for older people.
Dr Patterson has recently stepped down as Clinical Vice President of the Royal College of Physicians, where she was responsible for leading the work programmes on quality, safety and clinical practice.
Linda led the patients and compassion work stream for the Future Hospital Commission, published in September 2013.
