Dr Rakhee Shah is a Consultant Developmental Paediatrician at Chelsea and Westminster NHS Foundation Trust and a Senior Clinical Research Fellow at the Mohn Centre for Children’s Health and Wellbeing, based within the School of Public Health at Imperial College London.
Her research focuses on improving health services and reducing inequalities for children and young people, particularly those with neurodevelopmental conditions including learning disabilities, autism and ADHD. She is especially interested in research that can inform child health policy and translate into meaningful improvements in healthcare and outcomes.
Dr Shah is currently undertaking an MD(Res) evaluating the Annual Learning Disability Health Check scheme among young people in England, with a particular focus on identification, equitable access to preventative healthcare and health outcomes.
