Dr Richard Lewis (@RichardQLewis) is an independent strategy consultant. He has experience of supporting major service reconfigurations and the development of new models of care. He also has long-standing academic and applied experience in primary and integrated care as well as in broader system reform.
Richard co-led the national evaluation of integrated care pilots for the Department of Health and advised them on primary, community and integrated care policy. He continues to carry out research and publish on integrated care and the reform of the NHS.
Richard was previously a Partner at EY and led their health practice in the UK and Ireland. He has spent time in the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit and as a Senior Fellow at the King’s Fund. Before that he spent a decade within the NHS, most recently as an executive director of a large health authority in London.
