Julien Mousquès

Julien Mousquès is head of primary and ambulatory care performance research team at IRDES. Julien's research has primarily focused on horizontal and vertical integration and financial incentives of health care professionals working in primary and ambulatory care. He is the investigator lead of several national grants and evaluation projects including pilots launched on primary care medical homes and skill-mix between GPs and nurses. Julien currently gives expertise for the Ministry of Health and National Health Insurance about ACO-like experiments in France.

Julien holds a Ph.D. in Health Economics from the University of Paris-Dauphine, a Master Degree in Health Economics-Health Policy-Health Services Research from the University of Paris Pantheon-Sorbonne. Julien was a 2015-16 French Harkness Fellow in Health Care Policy and Practice, sponsored by the Commonwealth Fund. He worked at the Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice under the mentorship of Professor Jonathan Skinner and Carrie Colla on ACOs.
