Kathryn joined the Nuffield Trust in 2026 as a Senior Fellow. She works on a wide range of quantitative projects relating to health and social care. She has a particular interest in NHS performance and workforce and has significant experience analysing large linked health care datasets.
Prior to joining the Trust, Kathryn worked at the Health Foundation where she worked as part of the Data Analytics directorate. Before venturing into the world of health policy, Kathryn worked as a healthcare actuary.
Kathryn has a masters degree in Actuarial Science from the University of Cape Town and is a Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa.
