Sarah Reed is a Senior Fellow at the Nuffield Trust, where she leads research on health and care policy in the UK and internationally. Her work has focused on a wide range of policy issues, leading projects covering integrated care, system reform, and regulation and governance. She has particular experience in comparative international research and qualitative methods.
Before joining the Trust in 2020, Sarah was a Fellow at the Health Foundation, leading work on quality improvement and the NHS as an anchor institution. She also previously worked at NHS Confederation as a Network and Policy Manager, and as Programme Director at the Institute for Clinical and Economic Review – an independent research organisation based in Boston, Massachusetts (her home state) that conducts evidence reviews and cost-effectiveness analyses of health care interventions.
Sarah holds an MSc in International Health Policy from the London School of Economics.
