Silvia joined the Nuffield Trust in January 2016 as a policy research assistant. She provides research and administrative support to specific policy projects and events.
Prior to joining the Trust, Silvia worked as a project officer at Public Health England, reporting on drug misuse in the UK.
Silvia completed an internship at the Health Foundation in 2015 where she contributed to a project analysing the impact of having two legislative organisational forms of NHS providers.
Before moving into health policy research, Silvia worked as a scientist in toxicology with LGC Forensics, and with University College London in a diagnostic research partnership with Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Silvia holds an MA in Public Policy from King’s College London, and a separate MSc in both Toxicology and Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
Silvia left the Trust in November 2017.
