Will is the Managing Director of the Shelford Group, responsible for development and delivery of strategy, senior stakeholder engagement, and representing the group to the NHS and wider health and care system partners.
Will has over 20 years’ experience in health policy, innovation, improvement and operational management. He joined the Shelford Group in January 2022 from the Health Foundation, where he was Director of Improvement.
Previously, Will was Forum Director for the World Innovation Summit for Health, and Operational Director at the Centre for Health Policy in the Institute of Global Health Innovation at Imperial College London, where he is an honorary research fellow. Prior to this, Will worked in the NHS as Head of Operations for Women’s and Children’s services at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, and as a management consultant at KPMG. While working in the NHS, Will undertook the GenerationQ Fellowship, gaining a postgraduate qualification in leadership and quality improvement.
