The Survey involved the completion by each medical school of a questionnaire for each major subject area in the medical curriculum; co-ordination was effected by a 'GMC Correspondent' in each school, who also answered a lengthy questionnaire on his school as a whole. Three visits were undertaken to every school by a member of the Survey Team, to elaborate, clarify, and expand upon replies.
This is the report of the Survey: it is in two volumes. Volume 2 reports on the teaching of the component elements of the medical course, subject by subject.
