The work has brought together teams of both dentists and sociologists combining their special skills to obtain the information sought.This report of their findings has been written for both the lay and professional reader, and technicalities and jargon have been kept to the minimum.
The final section reviews the findings and considers their importance in terms of the need for dental health education.
