To ensure that the next generation has a health and care system that meets its needs, it is vital to start planning now. This Nuffield Trust report focuses on the third phase of the Health Policy Futures series, examining the current health and care needs of the people in England and giving projected outcomes for the future. This identification of future health issues helps us to evaluate current health policy from a long-term perspective.
