Measuring general practice: a demonstration project to develop and test a set of primary care clinical quality indicators

This study evaluates the usefulness of a range of clinical quality indicators.

This key demonstration project by RAND Health and The Nuffield Trust examines the pilot use and application of a basket of clinical quality indicators in a selection of GP practices in the UK, their usefulness and efficacy in improving the levels of quality in care provided to patients.

This report is of key strategic relevance to all those interested in improving the quality of care in primary care practice and measuring the precise nature of that quality improvement.
