Tools and resources
We've developed a suite of tools and resources that are grounded in our practical experience of rapid evaluation, to help other researchers, evaluators and commissioners design approaches that are robust, inclusive and sustainable.
Our collection of tools and resources is designed to support researchers, evaluators and commissioners working in health and care. Drawing on RSET’s experience of designing and delivering rapid evaluations, they offer both practical guidance and tested frameworks that can be adapted to a wide range of projects. Together, these resources are intended to make evaluation more rigorous, inclusive and sustainable.
RSET evaluation process
The RSET evaluation process provides an overview of how we approach rapid evaluation, helping teams plan their own studies or better understand the principles behind our work.
EDI strategy
Our EDI strategy, developed collaboratively with input from the RSET PPIE Panel, sets out how equity, diversity, and inclusion can be embedded in research and offers a reference point for organisations developing their own strategies.
EDI assessment tool
The EDI assessment tool complements the EDI strategy, providing teams with a practical way to test and strengthen EDI considerations at every stage of evaluation.
Sustainability assessment tool
Our sustainability assessment tool supports researchers in reflecting on the environmental impact of their work and exploring how efficiency in design and delivery can reduce waste without undermining quality.
