Health inequalities: proceedings of the meeting of the Health Equity Network

This report from the Health Equity Network, the second of two, examines the ways in which we evaluate health inequalities.
The engrained and widespread nature of health inequalities suggests that policy interventions will face particularly thorny issues in formulating and implementing policy at national and local levels.
The seminar on which these proceedings are based contained presentations by a number of leading academics and policy makers engaged in the health inequalities field, and was designed to throw light on exactly those issues mentioned above: i.e. the links between health inequalities evidence, policy and implementation.
This is the second of two reports from the Health Equity Network examining health economic methodologies for evaluating health inequalities and methods for setting health care priorities.
