NHS productivity

The puzzle of why the NHS is delivering little more activity despite receiving more money and employing many more staff is a critical policy question. Collectively we remain some way off a shared understanding of the issue. With the NHS and many other commentators researching plausible ideas to explain this issue, we support a strongly evidence-based approach but believe discussions need to be made from a place of psychological safety to prove fruitful.
