Sarah joined the Nuffield Trust in December 2013 from the Health Analytical Services of the Scottish Government where she worked on a number of Health and Social Care projects and publications such as the integration of health and social care and the new social care survey.
Sarah’s current projects at the Trust include financial analysis of NHS funding and projection of future health care costs.
Sarah has a masters in ecological economics from University of Edinburgh. Her MSc dissertation was on the government cost of occupational cancer in Great Britain where she conducted a cost and benefit analysis of implementing a health intervention to reduce exposure to asbestos.
She graduated from McGill University in 2010 in international development and environmental studies focusing on the ecological determinants of health in society.
