Dougal Hargreaves is a Houston Reader in Paediatrics and Population Health at Imperial College School and a Health Foundation Improvement Science Fellow at the UCL Institute of Child Health. He previously returned from a Harkness Fellowship at Harvard Medical School, where he studied health care policies affecting adolescents and young adults. Previously, he worked as a Clinical Advisor at the English Department of Health, leading a national project to develop, validate and implement national quality standards for adolescent care within the NHS. Since qualifying from Cambridge University in 1999, he has worked in a wide range of clinical roles, including international work in Turkmenistan, Pakistan and Bosnia. He has a MD(Res) in Adolescent Health Services from University College London and additional postgraduate qualifications in public health and health economics.
